About Us
Astrophel Aerospace is an Indian space-tech company building affordable, dedicated launch vehicles for small satellites. In August 2023, we became one of the few private companies in India to independently develop and successfully test-fire a semi-cryogenic engine (Potentia), accomplished without external funding.
Our Astra C1 series prioritizes reusability and cost-efficiency, leveraging 3D printing and automotive manufacturing techniques to cut production time and costs by up to 40%. We've built core in-house strengths in engine valves, cryogenic subsystems, and avionics software, with several technologies adaptable for future defense platforms.
We are supported by an advisory board of veteran propulsion experts from ISRO, HAL and DRDO, who bring decades of experience and strategic oversight to our mission.
